Suunto X9i and Google Earth

Last week I posted about Suunto X9i (see the links below). Yesterday Suunto announced a new free PC software for this watch: Suunto Track Exporter. This software allows X9i’s users to convert the GPS tracks from the unit to Google Earth format, so that they can view or share the routes recorded with the watch.

Suunto Track Exporter is easy to use: just connect the Suunto X9i to the PC, open the software, select the tracks to export and export them.

Suunto has also created a web page where they show some videos of Google Earth routes created with this software.
