PCGamerBike: have fun while exercising
PCGamerBike is an exercise bike that connects to your computer so that you can control the movement of the characters of games with your pedal motion.
What games? Any PC game that has a moving character you can control, and it doesn’t have to be a cycling game. 3D Innovations, the company behind PCGamerBike, claims that the device has an extremely fast response time. This makes it appropriate for first person shooter and sports games. In case you don’t play PC games, the gadget comes with Island Worlds, a cyber-fitness software.
PCGamerBike comes with a logging software that collects your exercise data, summarizes it for you and draws nice graphics so that you can see your evolution.
There are currently two versions of PCGamerBike:
- The PCGB Mini. See the picture above.
- The PCGB Recumbent. Available in February 2007.
