Olympus Stylus 770SW: the all-sports camera
On January I wrote a post about the Olympus Stylus 720SW, claiming that it was a water sports camera. The new Stylus 770SW takes a step beyond. In addition to being a water camera, it wants to be your all-sports camera. See it for yourself:
- Shockproof: drop it from 5ft if you want.
- Waterproof: up to 33 ft.
- Freezeproof: -10ºC / 14ºF
- Crushproof: put it under 220 lbs. of maximum pressure.
Would you do that to your current, nice and delicate digital camera? I bet you wouldn’t!!
Other nice features of this camera are: a 2.5″ HyperCrystal LCD that allows you to view images in direct sunlight, digital image stabilization, nanometer to measure the air and water pressure to calculate the altitude and depth of your photos, the Bright Capture Technology to make pictures in low-light situations, a 3x optical zoom and 7.1 Megapixel resolution.
