Garmin Training Center available for Mac OS X

Garmin has announced that the Training Center software is going to be available for Mac OS X v.10.4 "Tiger". You’ll find it at MacWorld (Jan 8-12, 2007), where Garmin will be distributing CDs with the software. And at the end of January you’ll be able to download it at the Training Center page. See the Press Release.

The Training Center software is used to analize and store the data gathered in your workouts (running, cycling or other sports) by the Forerunner or Edge fitness trainers. This is a screenshot of the Windows version:

Garmin has also developed a web application, MotionBased, where you can input your data, and it has some additional benefits like online mapping and route sharing. Mac users have been able to upload data to MotionBased using a Safari plugin since March 2006.
